Batteries and rechargeable batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. As an end user you are obliged to return used batteries and accumulators. Free return is possible at the collection points of the public waste disposal authorities as well as at the manufacturers and distributors.
The symbol of a crossed-out dustbin indicates that the respective product must be collected separately from unsorted municipal waste at the end of its life. Near the garbage can symbol you will find the name of the respective pollutant. "Cd" stands for cadmium, "Hg" for mercury and "Pb" for lead.
